lll MAURY lll (aka Maury111)'s EP, ‘Marble’ was composed over a year of travelling between Seoul, Sevilla, Paris and Berlin, and produced during an artist residency throughout the white winter of Germany’s hyper creative capital.

The title ‘Marble’ refers to the tiny spherical object symbolising unity, as well as the geological phenomenon. When magma flows deep enough to come in contact with limestone, it recrystallises the old mineral and turns it into marble.

‘Marble’ consists of five tracks: Nahara, Kadulor, Sea Floor, Lavajungle and Sun Reflections. Taking off with a spirit invocation ritual (Nahara), ‘Marble’ travels through the eyes of a loved one (Kadulor) before starting the cosmic ascension. From the depth of life’s origins (Sea Floor), to the metaphoric dive into magma in fusion (Lavajungle), the EP ends on a peaceful note (Sun Reflections), drifting away from the shore and yielding to a tsunami of thoughts.
